Frequently Asked
Our first few sessions will focus on my learning what brings you to therapy. We will go through inventories related to your presenting problem so I can gain an accurate picture of your current symptoms and impacts on your daily life. From there, we will work together to identify your personal treatment goals and create a plan for our work together.
Subsequent sessions are structured around the modality best suited to your treatment needs. You can expect an educational component in session along with strategies and homework assigned to apply what you’ve learned in session to your life outside the therapy hour.
I provide all sessions via teletherapy. Sessions take place through a secure platform and I am happy to work with clients located throughout the state of Kansas, where I am licensed.
I am in network with Blue Cross Blue Shield. All other insurances are considered out of network and sessions are billed at the rate of $160, due at the time of session. If your insurance plan includes out of network benefits, I am happy to provide documentation for you to submit for potential reimbursement, at the discretion of your insurance plan.
Sessions are set for 55 minutes.
Not at all! While some clients choose to work with me and ask to incorporate their faith, I enjoy and have experience working with clients of all backgrounds.
You’ve come to the right place! As a Certified Partner Trauma Therapist, my specialty focuses on the unique experiences partners face when going through betrayal trauma. You are worthy of tools for working through your experience in a shame-free space, independent of where your partner is in their healing journey.
I only accept individual clients and am happy to provide referrals for couples therapy when appropriate.
